Lexington for Everyone recently announced that Zach Worsham, vice president of Winterwood Incorporated, has joined its board of directors.
Winterwood is a family-owned real estate development and property management firm specializing in affordable housing. Worsham oversees the company’s real estate development and construction operations. Throughout his career, he has directed more than $390 million in affordable housing investments across four states to help create and preserve housing opportunities throughout the region.
“I’m honored to join the board of Lexington for Everyone,” Worsham said. “We have worked together collaboratively for years on the transformational project at the former Transy baseball field. I am excited to continue that work of educating and advocating for housing for people at all income and age levels.”
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Worsham is actively engaged in public service and non-profit leadership focused on housing and community development. He previously served as a member of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government Urban Growth Master Plan Advisory Committee and as board president of Access Ministries Ky Inc. He currently serves on the Kentucky Housing Policy Advisory Committee, the Mayor’s Task Force on Homelessness and is vice president of the board of Kentucky Habitat for Humanity.
